Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Just some pics from the month - Abby being cute, having fun...

Playing with Dad when he got back from New England.

While Abby stayed with Ryan's parents while we were in the North East they started putting on puppet shows for her. She loved it. She's watching one here.

We met some friends at the park to play, and get pedicures, of course

Emily, Knox, and Abby

Such cuties!

Max, Abby, Brynn, Emma, Damon - such cute friends

Jenna, Carmella, and Abby - who would want to use a trampoline for jumping?

One the way to the park - cute girls

Why Abby, what big eyes you have!

She likes to sit in our computer chair and spin - it takes a lot of times around to get her dizzy

Yogurt-stache

Her love of reading continues!

A New Niece

A month or so ago my second oldest nephew Matthew, got engaged, to Caitlyn. They were just going to elope but my sister and mom convinced them to have a wedding in my parent's backyard instead. My sister, Emily, planned and put together the whole thing. It was beautiful. I flew straight to Las Vegas from Boston since the wedding was that night. It was a quick trip for me, but not as quick as I had anticipated. I was going to fly back Sunday (the day after the wedding) but I was flying on a stand-by pass and couldn't get on any of the flights so flew out Monday morning instead. I was sad not to get back to Abby when Ryan did, but the wedding was nice and I'm glad I got to be there for it.

As the ceremony was supposed to start is started raining. Not hard, but still. They waited for about 10 minutes to start hoping the rain would stop (there was no rain in the forecast) but when it didn't they decided to go ahead fearing it could start raining harder. Just seconds before it started the rain totally stopped and this rainbow appeared. It was perfect - much more vibrant than you can see in the picture. There was actually a double rainbow.

Matthew's two brothers, Luke and Seth, were ring bearers.

His little sisters were flower girls (Caitlyn is an only child)

As Caitlyn walked down the isle almost everyone watched her, but I watched Matthew watching her. :)

They both said Yes!

The kids played while we set up for the reception

My nephew helped :)

His mom, my sister Jenny, had to climb up to help him down

So pretty - well done Emily. Congrats Matty and Caitlyn!
