Thanksgiving and time with Ryan's family

I love holidays - mostly I love any reason to celebrate and spend time with family. This year we spent Thanksgiving with Ryan's family and it was fantastic. Not only did we have lots of great food, but also great company. We spent the weekend with Ryan's family. We played lots of games (well, mostly we spent time playing wii - there are some family members that may be slightly addicted), visited the Federal Bureau of Printing, worked out at 24 Hour Fitness, saw Miracle on 34th Street and we ate a lot! This year I have felt particularly grateful for:
-Heavenly Father
-Jesus Christ
-The Holy Ghost
-Ryan
-my parents
-our family
-friends
-my patriarchal blessing
-church leaders
-our jobs and financial stability
-our house, cars, and all our possessions
-food, clothing, and clean water
-education
-freedom and those who have fought and sacrificed to provide it
-migraine-free days
-my body
-my mission
-missionaries
-temples
-travel opportunities
-animals
-this incredibly beautiful earth

Girl's Weekend

One of my friends in my Burleson Ward, Sarah, invited me and some of our other friends to spend a weekend at her in-laws lake house. They have done these trips before but I haven't gone because I feel bad leaving Ryan. But I decided to go this time, and it was a lot of fun. We spent a lot of time just hanging out at the lake house, eating, watching movies, eating, talking, eating, sleeping, and eating. But we also went into Tyler for lunch, pedicures, and shopping. It was a great time.
